United StatesThe Philadelphia Inquirer Names Clemens Food Group
a Winner of The Philadelphia/Delaware Valley Top Workplaces 2026 Award
HATFIELD, PA, Sept. 22, 2026 — Clemens Food Group has been named a Philadelphia/Delaware Valley Top Workplace for 2026 by The Philadelphia Inquirer, an honor based entirely on feedback from Team Members.
The recognition is determined through a confidential employee survey administered by Energage, an independent employee engagement technology company. The survey measures key aspects of the workplace experience, including whether employees feel respected and supported, empowered to do their work and provided opportunities to grow.
“This recognition means so much to us because the Philadelphia region is where we call home. For more than 130 years, our company has grown alongside the communities where our Team Members live, work and raise their families,” said Clemens Food Group President Chris Carey. “We continue to invest in our facilities, our people and our processes because we believe deeply in our mission to provide wholesome, sustainable food for families. It takes all of us, and together, we make a difference. We are honored to receive this recognition.”
What makes the Top Workplaces award especially meaningful is that it comes directly from Team Members. Employers do not pay to earn the designation, and organizations are recognized based on the strength of employee feedback compared with benchmarks developed by Energage through more than 20 years of workplace research. In 2026, 172 organizations earned recognition as Philadelphia Top Workplaces.
“Earning a Top Workplaces award is a badge of honor for companies, especially because it comes authentically from their employees,” said Eric Rubino, Energage CEO. “That's something to be proud of. In today's market, leaders must ensure they’re allowing employees to have a voice and be heard. That's paramount. Top Workplaces do this, and it pays dividends.”
For Clemens Food Group, that feedback is about far more than earning recognition. It provides an opportunity to better understand what Team Members value about their workplace, where the company is making a difference and where there is still work to do. As the company continues to grow, listening to Team Members remains an important part of strengthening the culture and creating an environment where people can contribute, develop and build a career.
